Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modiā€™s scheduled visit on December 13, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a field inspection of beautification and infrastructure projects in Prayagraj on Saturday. These developments are part of preparations for the grand and digital Mahakumbh-2025.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete the remaining works by December 10 without compromising quality. CM Yogi began his visit at Arail Bandha Road, where he reviewed the widening and beautification efforts.

Praising the completed work, he remarked, ā€œSmart Prayagraj is ready to welcome pilgrims and tourists for Mahakumbh, an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.ā€ He emphasized the importance of adorning the city and Maha Kumbh Nagar to reflect the ancient glory of Prayagraj.

The Chief Minister then inspected Triveni Pushp, including its Yoga and Cultural Center. Officials briefed him on the rejuvenation work, and he reiterated the need to maintain high standards, stating, ā€œMahakumbh-2025 is a global opportunity to showcase Indiaā€™s ancient spiritual traditions and the heritage of Prayagraj.ā€

At Naini, CM Yogi visited the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant and reviewed the ongoing drain-tapping projects. He instructed officials to ensure that no untreated drainage or sewage flows into the Ganga and Yamuna rivers.

Concluding his tour, CM Yogi inspected Shivalaya Park, a 40,000-square-meter site featuring depictions of ancient Shiva temples from across India. He described the park as a centerpiece of the Mahakumbh, representing the rich spiritual traditions of Sanatan culture.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to prioritize the parkā€™s cleanliness and beautification, ensuring it becomes a key attraction for devotees worldwide.
