Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief, has sparked controversy with his recent taunt aimed at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Yadav jokingly referred to CM Yogi as the “brother of the sadhus who come to Kumbh,” and even went on to say that the saints should “take him back” to their website.

This remark comes ahead of the Mahakumbh 2025, a massive religious gathering held once every 12 years in Prayagraj. The event is expected to attract around 40 crore people, and the Uttar Pradesh government has been busy making preparations to ensure a smooth and successful event.

However, Akhilesh Yadav has expressed concerns over the government’s preparedness, stating that some work is still pending and questioning how it will be completed in time. He even offered the help of his party workers to ensure the event’s success.

On the other hand, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma has praised CM Yogi for his efforts in boosting economic growth through religious tourism. Sharma referred to CM Yogi as “Arth Prabandhan Baba” (Economic Management Baba), highlighting his role in improving the economy through promoting religious tourism.

The Mahakumbh 2025 is scheduled to begin on January 13 and conclude on February 26. The main bathing festivals, known as the “Shahi Snan” (royal baths), will take place on January 14, January 29, and February 3.

As the event approaches, the political temperature in Uttar Pradesh is likely to rise, with the BJP and Samajwadi Party engaging in a war of words. While Akhilesh Yadav’s taunt at CM Yogi has sparked controversy, it remains to be seen how the Uttar Pradesh government will respond to the challenge of hosting a successful Mahakumbh 2025.

*Preparations for Mahakumbh 2025*

The Uttar Pradesh government has made elaborate arrangements for the Mahakumbh 2025, including:

– *Infrastructure Development*: The government has invested heavily in developing the infrastructure in and around Prayagraj, including roads, bridges, and public amenities.
– *Security Arrangements*: A massive security apparatus has been put in place to ensure the safety and security of the devotees, including deployment of police personnel and paramilitary forces.
– *Sanitation and Hygiene*: The government has made arrangements for sanitation and hygiene, including setting up of toilets and bathrooms, and ensuring a steady supply of clean water.

Despite these efforts, Akhilesh Yadav’s concerns over the government’s preparedness remain a major challenge for the BJP-led state government. As the Mahakumbh 2025 approaches, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to these challenges and ensure a successful event.

The Mahakumbh 2025 is not just a religious event, but also a celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage. The event is expected to attract devotees and tourists from across the globe, providing a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and understanding.

As the political battle between the BJP and Samajwadi Party heats up, the people of Uttar Pradesh can only hope that the Mahakumbh 2025 will be a success, and that the state government will rise to the challenge of hosting this massive event.
