The National Medical Commission (NMC) has made significant adjustments to the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 examination, which is a pivotal event for aspiring medical professionals seeking admission to postgraduate medical programs across India.
Initially slated for July 7, the NEET PG 2024 examination has now been rescheduled to take place on June 23. This decision has been made to accommodate various logistical and administrative considerations. Following the examination, the NEET PG 2024 results are anticipated to be announced by July 15, enabling candidates to proceed with the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
Furthermore, the counselling process for admission to postgraduate medical programs, as per the revised NBE NEET PG 2024 dates, is scheduled to occur from August 5 to October 15. It’s noteworthy that the cutoff date for determining eligibility to appear in the NEET PG 2024 examination has been set as August 15, 2024. Regarding the academic calendar, the commencement of the new session has been scheduled for September 16, with the last date for joining set for October 21. In addition to the adjustments in the NEET PG 2024 schedule, there have been significant regulatory changes impacting the future landscape of medical education in India. It’s pertinent to highlight that the NEET PG 2024 examination underwent multiple revisions in its tentative dates. Initially set for March 3, the exam date was subsequently rescheduled to July 7 before being revised once again to June 23.
